Your Role:
•Supporting Neurology portfolio, reporting to the Senior Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) – Neurology
•Development and execution of the HEOR strategic plan, tactical plan, and having full responsibility for HEOR budget and execution of the plan
•Planning, driving and implementing the interdisciplinary, local health outcomes, health economics and comparative effectiveness evidence generation strategy for US Medical for EMD Serono
•Delivering economic and comparative effectiveness models and dossiers to demonstrate the additional therapeutic value of EMD Serono’s products
•Developing RWE studies and/or analyses in close collaboration with medical colleagues
•Working collaboratively with cross functional team to plan and execute subgroup analyses of clinical data
•Developing key deliverables such as publications of study results, writing reports, presentations to internal and external working groups, advisory boards, networks, or congresses and training of internal stakeholders and subsidiaries, obtaining necessary internal approvals (i.e., legal, compliance, PSMR, DataVision)
•Providing evidence-based, scientific support of local submissions (i.e. AMCP Dossier) and presentations (within assigned regions and/or accounts) to health technology appraisal, reimbursement (e.g., managed care) and/or pricing authorities in USA

 

Who You Are:
Required:

•Degree in Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences, postgraduate qualification in Health Economics or Public Health / Health Services Research
•Min. 8 years of practical experience with HTA & Reimbursement within pharmaceutical industry for candidates with MS and min of 5 years’ experience with relevant terminal degree (PharmD, PhD etc)
•Strong conceptual, methodological, and analytical skills
•Demonstration of comprehensive mastery of health economics and/or epidemiological statistical methodologies as well as ability to apply such knowledge in a concrete business context to support patient access to therapy
•Strong communication skills are critical; this role will have regular communications and presentations to the cross functional team
•Strong collaborative skills and ability to function in a cross-functional matrix environment
•Excellent understanding of US payers (including commercial and government), market access and evidence-based medicine area and challenges
•Willing to travel (upto 20%) to support critical business decisions

Preferred:
•Experience in Neuroscience
