Reporting to the Regional or Cluster Distribution Manager, the Distribution Analyst will lead DC improvement initiatives to achieve efficiencies and overall improvement efforts within the warehouses and logistics flows.


Your Role:


An existing new opportunity has arisen to join our company as Facilities Maintenance Mechanic I.  You will be responsible for providing equipment and facilities maintenance support to ensure efficient upstream and downstream Distribution Operations within our newly constructed Distribution Center. This includes troubleshooting and repairing facility and mechanical and electrical systems as well as Distribution related equipment.  This needs to be in compliance with SOP’s and company procedures; conducting preventive maintenance and routine review of mechanical, electrical and automation systems.

Must demonstrate ability to manage facility maintenance programs for a Distribution Center environment.  The ability to clearly and comfortably view and understand the process of troubleshooting equipment. Making minor repairs and completing Preventative Maintenance on equipment.  Management of key facility contractors and maintenance service providers. Liaison for site to corporate EHS and Facilities Functions. This role will; perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment using approved work instructions, perform troubleshooting tasks on equipment using relevant repair manuals, corrective maintenance on DC or Facility equipment using equipment repair manuals, perform non-routine tasks as assigned by supervisor. You will need to be available for early, late and overtime hours. On rare occasions, work Saturday and/or Sunday and be available to stand weekly duty for after hour alarms.

In this role you will need to be able to communicate clearly and understand instructions, use hand tools and test equipment, use computerized ticketing system, be able to navigate the internet with a high degree of success to obtain equipment repair procedures, part numbers and information required to locate vendors of repair parts, manage outside contractor information and requirements and act as liaison for EHS and Facilities Function


Physical Attributes:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, and crouch, and be able to stay on your feet for eight hours.  The employee must be able to talk, hear, and smell.  The employee must be able lift and/or move up to 75 pounds unassisted. Employee may be required to move more than 75 pounds with assistance. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work in cold room environments. Regularly uses phones, computers, computer monitors and all office equipment. The employee is also required to type at a computer keyboard and have the ability to read CRTs/computer monitors.

Environmental conditions of this role are working near moving mechanical parts (Conveyors, powered industrial vehicles). Required to wear appropriate protective equipment including gloves and safety glasses. Working conditions of this role will include both controlled and non-controlled climate environments.



Who you are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Certifications:  Forklift or Dangerous Goods Shipping certification or may be required. (Can be obtained during employment).
  • 3+ years’ experience in warehouse maintenance methods, procedures and operations such as (electrical troubleshooting and repair, mechanical troubleshooting and repair, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair).
  • 2+ years’ experience working with & as direct outside vendor point of contact.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP, SAP Next, or other ERP system is strongly preferred.
  • Communication, orally and in writing must be at a sufficient level to perform all job duties.  Able to perform basic math functions accurately.
