Your Role: The Medical Affairs Coordinator will provide confidential coordinating and administrative support of a complex and diverse nature to the medical department teams and function head. You will apply superior organizational, administrative and computer skills to the operations, meeting management, reporting, budget management, compliance-related activities, organization and planning of the department.
You will assist in budget planning and monitoring/reconciliation activities, including detailed monthly reports that will flag projects under risk. As a key SAP user, you will manage all aspects of the purchase to pay process for the medical team while liaising with other key users within the local and global organization, to ensure all financial aspects are completed accurately. You will also be a key user of the company’s Compliance reporting program and act as a case creator and proponent for assigned types of activities. You will be responsible for the organization and maintenance of Medical Department files and support for the archiving process while ensuring files/archives are audit ready
You will also own the performance reporting process for Medical Department by developing/ maintaining templates, obtaining input and ensuring timely submission of reports to Medical Director, Global/Region, GM/LT and other identified stakeholders. You will play an active role on the Medical Review Committee that includes, but not limited to, MRC meeting coordination, agenda, minutes, filing, help with submission of locally approved projects to Global, as assigned, logging and filing. You will also support and coordinate the Compassionate drug use/Early Access Programs/Special Access Programs, including logging and filling and ensuring relevant internal policies are followed.
Who You Are: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, with a business degree or relevant experience as an asset. You have 3-5 years of related professional experience with senior-level management support. You have excellent communication skills (both written & oral) and are a self-starter, who can work with minimal supervision, and have an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You are well organized, a team player and have excellent advanced computer skills in Work, PowerPoint, Excel and SAP Financial. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
