Your Role: As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development of the brand plan by providing strategic direction for plan development/refinement and leadership for the implementation of strategically aligned tactical programs.  This role will through either formal or informal people management responsibilities provide leadership, expertise, performance evaluation, coaching and support to the broader EMD Serono Marketing Team.   You will Significantly contribute to the cross-organizational work/projects in Customer-Centric engagement.


You will champion the development and execution of marketing strategies, plans and tactics for key Brand(s) within the Therapeutic Area. You will be responsible for the total marketing budget and ensuring spending milestones are met.  You will lead ongoing strategy and plan evolution in response to emergence of market events and new customer insights, and you will lead the cross-functional team and ensure transparency, alignment and accountability of members in the execution of their assigned tactical elements.  This role will also act as a significant support to the Customer-Centric engagement lead, who is responsible for leading the development of the EMD Customer engagement vision and strategy and champion projects required to achieve it.  



Who You Are: You have a minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with demonstrated exposure across the brand lifecycle.  Launch lead experience, or experience working on a Global Launch Team is a strong asset.  You will have previous experience in pharmaceutical sales, with previous sales management experience considered a strong asset.   Customer-centric experience marketing, marketing automation and/or multi-channel marketing are strong assets.
