Job Purpose:

This position will support functional head in driving robust company and executive profiling programs in China externally, and proactively lead employee communication programs to achieve organizational excellence.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage and drive robust company-level communications programs and a strong player in stakeholder engagement to develop company stories and effectively shape company's profile
  1. Executive speeches and presentations
  2. Thought leadership programs
  3. Media interviews
  4. Develop crisis/issue communications tool kits and manage crisis communications
  5. Global executive visits
  6. Pitch news story and proactively get involved in the editorial calendars of key media outlet to enhance visibility
  7. Digital outreach and modern approaches to enhance company profile and reputation


  • Effectively manage and execute on company internal communications to engage employees around our culture and priorities with clearly defined core messaging
  1. Group-wide communications initiative’s local landing
  2. Change management communication programs
  3. Internal publication and platforms
  4. Town Hall meeting
  5. Regular communications letters and executive messages
  6. Forge a meaningful internal communications environment and channel mix for China employees and among China, Global and Regional


  • Liaise with x-sector colleagues in building our brand in China
  1. Support global initiatives local landing
  2. Corporate branding and innovation initiatives
  3. Ongoing and regular update and development of company materials and documents to ensure and reflect an accurate description of the business sector
  4. Localize global news, announcement, managements' messages, etc.
  5. Global projects local roll out
  6. Design and execute brand PR strategic plan


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Communications, journalism, marketing, language or equivalent background
  • 6-10 years communications experience in Communications in corporate/agency environment
  • Extensive experience in healthcare or solid knowledge of Healthcare policies and industry landscape
  • Preferably with certain product PR communications experience
  • Substantial media relations experience both general media and healthcare beat
  • Excellent writing, editing, copywriting, consolidation and proofreading skills
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines, work independently under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Able to manage and lead people with indirect authority
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with, counsel and influence senior executives effectively
  • Proven ability to develop and execute results-driven communications strategies that are aligned with business goals, with a strong sense of ownership and result-orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, resources, goals, and project initiatives
  • Experience coordinating with communications professionals, vendors and agencies
  • Strong tactical and analytical/strategic skills, hands-on, high energy and highly proactive
