Your role: Are you ready to take an active part in the future of our Oncology journey? Alongside our Medical Manager Neurology, directly reporting to our new Medical Director, you will lead medical affairs activities in Belgium in Immuno-Oncology. Working with one direct report, you will be in charge of established as well as launching products. Does this sounds like your next challenge? Then join our Belgium team! Working closely with our Medical Director, you will contribute to establish clear medical plans. Meeting with Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) and Influence groups, you will share data, request & provide support on publications and roll-out of medical marketing projects. Preparing presentations and other material for external experts, you will also coordinate and contribute to the set up and conduct phase IV activities, e.g. clinical trials, observational studies & Investigator Sponsored Trials. You will also coordinate and contribute to the organization and sponsoring of scientific events and will facilitate continuous medical education events for relevant KTL groups. In close collaboration with commercial as well as other functions, you act as strategic consultant for the Business Unit, helping to generate strategies, tactics & key messages. In this role you will focus on identifying market/therapy trends as well as other developments in Oncology. You will support pre-marketing activities for new products and line extensions and train Business Unit team members on scientific developments. Cross functional collaboration is a key element of this function, supporting Health & Governmental Affairs with the development of health-economics data and tools needed for pricing and reimbursement.


Who you are:

  • You completed a University degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, MSc)
  • You gained 7+ years’ industry experience
  • You possess deep knowledge of regulatory, commercial and clinical issues affecting industry
  • You gained sound Oncology knowledge and experience
  • You are preferably tri-lingual in English/Dutch/French
  • You preferably have leadership experience
  • You have strong influential skills and excellent communication skills
