Your role :
As the Head of Product Manager – Franchise Owner for our Laboratory water purification product range (Large Volume, Clinical & OEM), you are working in the Lab Water Business Field reporting to Head of Global Strategic Marketing & Product Management
The Global Group Product Manager – Franchise Owner is the business head for his/her specific franchise. He/she is managing a group of 2 Product Managers and is responsible for franchise strategy and execution, all aspects of product management and market research for franchise. Are included, but not limited to, the lifecycle management of his/her product portfolio, focusing in particular on large and complex Product Development Projects (such as platform projects covering several product ranges or breakthrough projects), research of end customer & relative technology market trends for future product requirements; analysis of competitive products, support to regional marketing, sales and field service engineers; Refinement and enhancement of product strategy and tactics for his/her franchise including building and advocating business cases to drive additional growth.
As part of your role, you are driving strategic development project in close collaboration with our R&D department as well as in charge of high level communication related to your product range to our top leadership.
This is a full time position based in Guyancourt (Paris), France, our Global Headquarter for our Life Science Lab Water Business.
Who you are :
- Education: Engineering or scientific degree in Chemistry &/or Biology
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably in Life Science Laboratory environment
- 5 to 7 years in similar strategic marketing position with successful track record in product development and product launch as well as people management.
- Business acumen, structured and strategic thinking, team player, excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English with excellent English writing skills
- Ready to travel globally (25 to 35 % time)
