Your role:  

As Controlling Analyst, you will have a direct interaction to Business/Function Controllers and to the business if needed. Your primary responsibility is to manage, develop and prepare timely and accurate reporting data to monitor business performance trends.  

 

You will be highly involved on regular reporting of actuals, planning and forecast cycle which may require analysis of financial results and deviations, assistance in the preparation of the annual operating budgets, managing and maintaining operational and reporting databases on a regular basis or during business changes such as reorganization, and other issue that may raise.   

 

In your role, you are expected to maintain and continuously improve the reports and other related activities to ensure sound decision making are made by the management and the business. 

 

You will be reporting directly to a Team Lead for administrative and business requirement needed to build, stabilize and sustain the Controlling Services. 

 

Who you are: 

 

  • Graduate of Finance/Accounting, MBA is an advantage, CPA/CIMA/CMA not required but an advantage. 

  • Experience in finance operations, at least 10 years with focus on business controlling e.g. financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting. 

  • Experienced in biotech/pharmaceutical industry and scientific background an advantage 

  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with high expectations for performance in an atmosphere of continuous change. 

  • Collaborative, assertive and confident to communicate to all levels in the organization. 

  • Team player, able to identify potential issues, solution focused and able to collaborate propose solutions and communicate to stakeholders 

  • Fluent English language required 

  

Quantitative skills: 

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Strong working application knowledge: SAP and/or other ERPs, TM1, QlikView, Business Intelligence and/or Business Objects Finance 

  • Command of analytics and modeling and simulation skills 

  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
