Your Role: As the Manager, Analytics & Insights, you will be the influential change agent to help deliver value through optimizing the impact of marketing by delivering hindsight (what happened), insight (why), and foresight (future actions), who to target, what to say, and build intelligence on the market and competitive landscape. You will direct activities and processes of the department, including ownership of department annual budget and People management, including workload management, prioritization, performance management, feedback and coaching, and individual development (including succession planning) and pipeline development. You will prioritize workload between internal resources and across various Therapeutic Areas (TA) and be a key cross-functional partner in planning and executing relevant focus area activities, deliverables, projects and initiatives.
You will communicate insights, findings, opportunities, market research and more to a broad variety of stakeholders and partners, including some/all internal interfaces (e.g. members of the LT, key sales team members, Region/Global) as well as occasional external interfaces and develop and maintain a competitive intelligence process for all Therapeutic Areas (TA). You will also identify, evaluate and implement additional internal/external analyses and reporting as required to ensure optimal resource allocation and business decision-making and provide analysis / trending / tracking to balanced scorecards and dashboard checkpoints for all departments. You will Manage the interaction and relationship with IQVIA (nee IMS, Brogan) and other market data vendors and report results to all Therapeutic Areas (TA) and Leadership Team (LT) and Manage interactions and relationships with analytics and other key support vendors. You will also provide support and leadership for Sales Team, including sales quota development, territory sizing, incentive planning, SalesForce CRM system, and more.
Who You Are: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent relevant experience. An MBA with accounting or data analytics designation with advanced understanding of ROI, valuation modeling, patient and market forecast models, and/or financial analysis techniques is preferred. You have industry experience in a similar job for a least 5-7 years and have two or more years of experience managing direct reports and/or small team and have strong interpersonal skills to develop and establish relationships with appropriate people internally and externally. You have the ability to work effectively under very tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
