Who You Are:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulation for storage/ import/ export of chemicals
  • Support the importing/exporting operational activities and communicate with the appointed freight forwarders to resolve day-to-day issues that may result in border delays;                              
  • Liaise with local authorities, freight forwarders and customers on compliance issues to ensure adherence to internal procedures for compliance items;                                                                  
  • Review and classify business' portfolio of materials in accordance to latest regulations;             
  • Maintenance of the business regulatory licenses to minimize supply chain disruption;                 
  • Review customers sales orders in Global Trade Services (GTS) to ensure timely delivery;         
  • Review intercompany purchase orders in GTS to prevent disruption to supply chain;                   
  • Interact with cross functional departments to ensure compliance, facilitate customs clearance and deliveries to customers;                                                                                                              
  • Focal contact point to local/foreign affiliates on matters concerning import and export compliance and documentation requirements especially for export controlled goods
  • Provides support in regulatory management activities eg medical device product registration, training, surveillance and advocacy work
  • Supports training of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical regulation to internal and external customers

 

What You Do:

  • Preferably Science Education Background in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Biomedical related discipline
  • At least 3-4 years’ experience as a regulatory and or compliance function in a chemical and pharmaceutical environment will be preferred
  • Knowledge in regulations for storage/import/export of chemicals
  • Knowledge in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical regulatory framework
  • Experience in liaising and coordination with local controlling agencies on licences and registration matters
  • Basic Knowledge in SAP system eg GTS
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications especially MS Excel, digitalization knowledge in process automation tools will be an advantage
  • Team player with good analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and takes initiatives
  • Meticulous and organized
