Your Role: As the Customer Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of the EMD Customer engagement vision and strategy and champion projects required to achieve it. You will work closely with Business Unit Head and rest of Canadian Leadership Team to define broad organizational level customer engagement vision and strategy and yearly tactics, as well as champion Customer engagement concepts and visions across the business to encourage these concepts are included planning and decision making across the organization. You will build digital and other MLM capabilities for the marketing teams and identify capability gaps to build a roadmap to address those gaps.
You will understand and synthesize customer needs and preferences based on data from across multiple sources, including customer engagement, analytics, and research and work with a cross-functional team across Marketing, Sales, Medical, and Analytics to define the Customer Engagement Strategy and build Customer Engagement Journeys by brand. You will proactively recommend changes to the Customer Engagement Strategy based upon measured results. You are also responsible to develop brand-level customer engagement strategies, in conjunction with brand leads and ensure all marketing projects are compliant with applicable codes and guidelines and required approvals are obtained through the appropriate medical, legal, regulatory and compliance processes.
Who You Are: You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Business, Marketing or related field of study is preferred. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is an asset. You are fluent in English with French language an asset. You have a minimum of 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with demonstrated exposure across the brand lifecycle and have project and team management experience. Your sales management and experience with marketing automation software is a strong asset. You have experience with marketing agencies and the creative process, as well as multi-channel marketing and/or customer-centric experience marketing.
You are also highly motivated, have a good work ethic, have maturity and personal initiative. You have strong communication skills, both oral and written, that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers, and you can influence and lead teams without authority.
