- To develop/update Business Development strategy in alignment with China leadership team, Regional/Global BD leadership and fellow BD Director across all of our focus therapeutic areas of General Medicine, Endocrinology, Oncology, Fertility and Neurology.
- Proactive lead identification through formal and informal networks both within and outside that are aligned with strategy.
- Align with key stakeholders to evaluate, move forward and complete partnering opportunities. Negotiate and finalize agreements to increase long-term sales and profits.
- Manage and further improve existing business partnerships including resolving issues, amending terms of existing agreements and further expanding partnerships.
- Deals types may range the spectrum of commercial partnering, from exclusive licensing to co-commercialization, co-development to product acquisitions with a primary focus towards portfolio build and as second priority pipeline partnering and out-bound transactions of non-core assets.
