Your role:

At MilliporeSigma, we are looking for an Administrator to organize our department’s day-to-day operations. Responsibilities will include administrative support to the Head of Quality Management Systems & Audits and all other members of the Life Science-Quality organization in Burlington MA as well as support to visiting team members. 


Responsibilities will include managing activities for the team including travel, expense reporting, meetings, logistics, facilities etc.  MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be used to prepare a wide variety of documents and presentations.  Active participation in team meetings including creating agendas and taking meeting minutes will also be a function of this role.  You will also be tasked with preparing drafts, formats and managing relevant documents and the care of website functions and social media profiles.  Your attendance at workshops and conferences may also be requested.   


Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in any discipline with 3+ years’ experience providing administrative assistance or a High School Diploma with 5+ years of administrative assistance experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • 3 to 5 years plus of administrative assistance experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize simultaneous projects within the department.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
  • The ability to “take ownership” of the position and its responsibilities and to make a real contribution to the department and the company.
