Your role: 

As Corporate Counsel for Life Science, you will serve as a Legal business partner and counsel for our Process Solutions business unit supporting commercial activities in the Americas, hardware systems globally, and the BioProcessing business field.  You will provide a full range of legal support for the business, including drafting and negotiating commercial, development, procurement, license and other agreements, advising and training senior management and sales teams on legal risk areas as well as on commercial processes, and managing litigation and claims relating to the business and regions you support. You will participate on the Leadership Teams of the relevant business organizations and on related strategic project teams.  You will coordinate effective legal support coverage for the Americas with global Legal colleagues, especially in Europe, and coordinate globally for hardware and BioProcessing matters.  You will engage and oversee external counsel for matters requiring resources or expertise not available within the company’s Legal team.  The position will be based in Burlington, MA.


Who you are:

  • JD and admission to practice law in a US state
  • Minimum eight (8) years in large law firm and/or multinational corporate legal department, involving international legal issues and business transactions
  • Experience in life science industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact well with senior management and colleagues in matrixed organization
