Your role:

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, design and implement MCM tools and activities in coordination with all GM&E Therapeutic Areas and Medical to deliver high-level, efficient and measurable engagement with customers
  • Collabrorately work with Marketing and Medical to coordinate content generation and delivery for MCM tools and activities
  • Manage external digital agengies to ensure high-quality delivery of MCM tools and activities when applicable
  • Set measurable KPIs to evaluate MCM effectivities
  • Monitor, report and review performance of ongoing MCM initiatives
  • Proactively seek for industry MCM best practices, suggest and implement relevant improvement actions
  • On a need basis, contribute in initiatives of innovative digital business models to support and accelerate growth plans of the largest GM&E franchise within Merck
  • Actively contribute in forming a digital culture within the BU
    Strategic Impact
  • Be part of implementing digital concepts and strategies that lead to both additional revenue streams and cost efficiencies, strenghtening the leadership position for Merck GM&E in China

 

Who you are:

  • Manage internal and external network of business partners
  • At least Bachelor’s degree ideally in science and health care related disciplines
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin
  • Good English skill
  • Solid background of at least 3 years in pharmaceutical industry (pharma, consultants, agencies) in leading MNCs
  • Experience in and knowlege of digital marketing/ MCM ideally within healthcare
  • Understanding of the Chinese pharmaceutical market and distribution models
  • Good track record in operational excellence, including succesful MCM activities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrating strong learning capabilities on new skills and methodology
  • Open minded, proactive and self-motivated team-player
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
