Global Product/Process Engineer


Your role: This position is to join an international team of process and product engineers responsible for implementation of continuous improvement projects around existing product portfolio and commercialization of new products from lab scale to high volume manufacturing.  Role is in the Klebosol business group making colloidal silica based CMP slurries for use in the semi-conductor industry.  Primary responsibilities and location would be out of US (plant in Martin, SC or R&D/lab in Charlotte, NC) with responsibility for ensuring best practice sharing and implantation with colleagues at the sister plant in France.  Position also involves high level of direct interaction with end use customers (explaining CIP projects, aligning on new product deliverables, root cause investigation output, etc).

Who you are:

Required Qualifications:

  • Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in process/product engineering or plant operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product development from R&D to commercialization preferred.
  • Familiar with semi-conductor operations with emphasis on CMP.
  • Background in continuous improvement project management preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSI PI or similar data management.
  • Experience with reactor design and scale up a plus..
  • Familiarity/certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt or Green Belt) preferred.
  • Fluency in French and/or German is a plus.
