Your role:
•    Work closely with US Head of Medical Affairs Neurology and Immunology (N&I) to set direction, implement strategy and ensure delivery of outcomes for US Medical Affairs function
•    Act as Local Medical Affairs TA expert in N&I 
•    Co-lead the Brand or launch teams/ Local Therapeutic Area (TA) leadership team in the development of TA, Launch and Brand strategies 
•    Address the needs of the evolving immune-N&I landscape and contribute value to our assets in the health care system by leading data generation and dissemination through appropriate peer-reviewed and peer-to-peer channels
•    Consolidate and communicate trends, market insights, and unmet needs identified in the field
•    Leading medical core team members from Field Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, Medical Information, and HEOR while collaborating transversely with business partners from commercial, R&D, Global Medical Affairs
•    Work in close collaboration of the US Medical Field Team, contribute to their hiring, planning, strategy, tactics, and education 
•    Collaborate with other therapeutic areas to leverage US Medical Affairs N&I expertise and programs as appropriate
•    Interact with Local stakeholders in Medical community in TA
•    Identify and interact with influential members of the Medical community (HCPs/external experts) and other healthcare stakeholders (managed care organizations, government organizations, patient groups) within assigned territory and TA
•    Represent company at Medical Education events, programs, meetings and support patient advocacy related activities
•    Partner with external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions
•    Engage with internal colleagues (Medical Affairs department, Clinical Operations, Commercial colleagues as appropriate, etc.) in developing and delivering and participating in Medical or cross-functional initiatives


Who you are:
•    MD or DO degree
•    3+ years of prior experience in pharmaceutical Neurology and/or Immunology Medical Affairs (MSL, Medical Advisor, etc)
•    Substantial professional, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field (minimum of 5 years)
•    Knowledge of regulatory, commercial and clinical issues affecting industry
•    Knowledge and experience of methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice 
•    In-depth knowledge and experience in own discipline and beyond to supplement formal knowledge in order to apply principles and concepts of own discipline in resolving issues as they arrive
•    Demonstrated understanding of the clinical development and post-marketing environment for pharmaceuticals including post-marketing clinical studies and medical affairs strategic initiatives in N&I
•    Excellent management, teamwork, communication and presentation skills and solid experience in developing strategic plans and oversight processes
•    Demonstrated ability to work with teams, manage a diverse work group, motivate them, and maximize productivity
•    Creation and oversight of cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams
•    Experience in influencing on medical field teams in changing competitive environment, changing product technology, and changing needs
•    Experience in working in an environment, which integrates all business unit functions
•    Demonstrated orientation & credibility with internal and external customers
•    Creation of solid plans and reports for which performance and progress can be measured and evaluated
•    Knowledge and application of business planning & leadership principles, such as goal setting, action plans, monitoring tools, directive and supportive techniques to develop and implement action plans
•    Possess strong budget experience and knowledge
•    Fluency in English (oral and written)
•    Ability to travel 40%
•    Able to perform normal and routine office duties
