Your role: An exceptional opportunity has become available for a dynamic Head of Biopharma Controlling BeNeLux. In this role, you will be responsible for all controlling activities in BeNeLux cluster. Your primary business partners will be the local General Managers in BeLux and Netherlands. You will report to the Head of Controlling Mid-Europe and the position will be based in Brussels, Belgium. You will become a solid and trusted business partner to the respective General Managers and other senior leaders in the countries to help steer the organization building effective collaboration. You will perform financial analysis and forecasting of sales and OPEX of the operational P&L. Furthermore, you will be developing and communicating annual operational targets & updated forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders, and the identification and quantification of business risks and opportunities. As part of the role, you will supervise the organization's budget & establish and implement budgeting systems and procedures. You will perform analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual operational P&L with a focus on interpretation and producing accurate analyses for management. You will support your Business Partners in their delivery of business results by having a deep understanding of strategy and anticipating the needs of both operations and management and support with resource reallocation suggestions among franchises when necessary. Also under your responsibility is the support of external audits for financial documents and legal fees as well as the monitoring and supporting of month-end closing activities and improvements.

 

Who you are:

  • You have a University Degree in Economics / Finance / Financial or Management Accounting
  • You have a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience working in a Finance environment along with experience in effectively leading multiple stakeholders
  • You have advanced skills in Excel and the ability to work with and analyze complex data
  • You have strong experience with ERP and consolidation systems (SAP, Cognos, TM1, or similar)
  • You possess strong social and influencing capabilities with an ambitious, strategic and forward-looking business mindset as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and to enable agile ways of working, curious and feel comfortable in dealing with risk and working with ambiguity
  • You are proficient in English. French and/or Dutch are an advantage
