Your role:

As the Director of BD, New Products, you are responsible for developing new product modules meeting industry demand and the customer’s unmet needs. As the product owner, you will own the new product module from ideation and proof of concept to implementation and customer adoption. You will effectively engage industry leaders as the early adopter, be the critical connector, the translator and the team quarterback for the internal product implementation team. Your team will serve as the intelligence hub for all of EMD Digital, building highly scalable, robust analytics solutions that power everything we do and every decision we make.

 

As a member of the business development team, you will define and implement efficient processes and methodologies to lead the business growth.

 

Location: US (Cambridge, Massachusetts), Location flexible to include remote in the US.

 

Travel: Domestic and international travel <30%

 

Who you are:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in material science, chemistry/chemical engineering, software engineering or allied fields.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in semiconductor industry with direct understanding in semiconductor materials and their applications at device manufacturing processes
  • New product commercialization experience to bring innovation to  the market
  • Hands-on experience in technical marketing, commercial negotiations, business planning, strategy development and execution
  • Experience with data analytics tools and use case development is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Results oriented with a curiosity for learning and problem solving
  • Strong collaboration spirit, interpersonal and communication skills, especially across multi-cultures.
  • Effective speaking and written communication skills and proven track record for project management is desirable
