PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

The ERP Project Manager manages execution of IT projects occurring on ERP platforms and drives the project coordination of a variety of teams utilizing in-house methodology and tools to bring projects to completion on time and within budget.
Some travel required up to 25%.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

  • Active participation in the construction of project timeline
  • Accountable for the project go-live on time, within budget, and meeting or exceeding quality standards
  • Implement and adhere to prescribed methodology and significant KPIs to measure achievement of project objectives, on time, and on budget
  • Contribute actively to communications related to the project
  • Coordinate all teams involved and follow up the development activities utilizing in-house tools and methodology
  • Ensure that teams are adhering to validation rules and are using correct templates according to each phase of the project
  • Report risks and request mitigation solution(s) timely to the teams throughout project’s life cycle
  • Accountable for cutover preparation ensuring that teams are informed and preparing all tasks to be executed during and prior go-live
  • Coordinate with Basis, authorization, training, Change Control and master data teams, and any other satellite teams involved in the project
  • Engage in and contribute to continuous improvement in project methodology
  • Share knowledge and improvements with the Project Manager team
  • Other duties as required

 

JOB CRITERIA:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or Masters degree in Computer Science or any Science field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar ERP management role
  • Experience with SAP; technical SAP background preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of project methodologies, such as Agile, strongly preferred
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively conduct meetings with an international audience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and with outside contacts
  • High leadership and influencer behaviors
  • Sound interpersonal and cultural awareness skills to effectively collaborate with business users and technical resources globally
  • Excellent collaboration skills with focus on team spirit
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
