Your Role:

The Designer position, based in Chandler, AZ, is responsible for developing process packages for high purity specialty gas and chemical delivery systems. The Designer will complete product designs and drawings that meet safety and functional requirements. The CAD Mechanical Designer will travel for training and work up to 30% domestically, prior to factory start-up in Chandler, AZ. Travel will predominately be to a sister facility in Allentown, PA


  • Develop, update, and compile technical documents (Drawings, BOMs) for the manufacturing team to accurately and efficiently build equipment
  • Transacting in SAP to generate or revise bill of materials and associate drawings to parts
  • Use CAD applications (primarily SolidWorks) to develop drawings suitable for manufacturing and customer use by applying product documentation, assembly models, drawings, bill of materials, schematics
  • Process ECR’s (Engineering Change Requests), resulting in revisions to drawings, bill of materials, and as-built records


Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Engineering/Technology/Computer Aided Drafting
  • 6+ months experience in SOLIDWORKS


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with CAD software, using engineering and designing principles to increase output
  • 1+ year experience in the use of document management systems and SAP Systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in multi-functional teams while aligning with business needs and priorities
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast pace, multi-priority environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate in a multi-functional team environment
