Your Role:

As a Maintenance Coordinator in St. Louis, MO, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling contracted maintenance activities, management of the MRO storeroom, and act as lead buyer for goods and services for maintenance activities.  This role will be located at our one of our St. Louis locations.  Essential duties are:


  • Plan, schedule, and oversee contracted maintenance activities for planned and unplanned events
  • Act as an owner and SME for the MRO storeroom operations
  • Be lead buyer for maintenance goods and services, such as maintenance contracts, one-off purchases, and repeat purchases
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives around maintenance, facilities, and engineering processes
  • Develop and manage maintenance and repair plans to help eliminate equipment failures and increase overall reliability
  • Mentor, coach, and oversee other buyers and technicians to advance their development
  • Document work performed on equipment in both electronic and written form
  • Routinely utilize SAP for work management
  • Input any changes to equipment or preventive maintenance into the SAP CMMS system
  • Assist with audit findings and provide documents as needed
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

  • Perform moderately physical activity
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals and unknown biological agents.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell
  • Use hands and/or feet to operate equipment
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Wear an air helmet, mask, safety shoes, apron rubber and Tyvek suits, protective gloves, safety glasses and/or goggles
  • Work at varying heights


Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Associate's Degree or Trade School Degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Business, or Finance with 2+ years’ experience in planning/scheduling maintenance activities, and/or MRO material and service sourcing or management


  • High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years’ experience in planning/scheduling maintenance activities, and/or MRO material and service sourcing or management


Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in planning/scheduling maintenance activities, and/or MRO material and service sourcing or management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of various health and safety codes
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in aspects of project management, including obtaining permits
  • Working Knowledge of SAP CMMS and cGMP practices
  • Lean Training or Six Sigma Certification
