  • Sales Force Effectiveness: Supervise SFE manager to drive field force productivity by
    • Implement local SFE KPIs through CRM platform to drive sales performance
    • Sales incentive: Develop and execute sales force incentive and recognition program
    • Sales target setting: Develop model for sale target setting for each business and provide a baseline target to the sales team to ensure the target is allocated fairly
    • Sales force team structure analysis and recommendation to maximize investment
    • Field force capability development: Work with trainer to roll out the Sales force and first line sales manager development program and customize the global program to fit with local requirement
  • Business Intelligence:  Performs analyses of sales and market data. Provide insight to support sales and marketing strategy.
    • Prepare and consolidate sales performance and market data from external/internal sources
      (i.e PReMa, Distributors) to update monthly to commercial team
    • Maintain and Develop analysis to track brands’ performance to address business issues and opportunities
  • Training : Supervise training manager on the following people development
    • Identify current and future training needs through job requirement and career development by
    • Plan people development program
    • Develop the innovative training solutions to meet the training and development needs of field force and FLSMs
  • Pricing
    • Develop local pricing policy and ensure the local pricing execution of business align with global guidance
    • Maintain and verify local price in Global pricing system
    • Working with business on developing price proposal for new price implementation, pricing negotiation with government and
    • Work with finance to update local transfer price base on global guidance


  • Business Unit Head

Functional Tasks

    • Build credible, professional relationships with KOLs. Take part in negotiations with major national key accounts, develop and secure personal contact with major clients.
    • Manage the creation, development, approval and distribution / implementation of communication materials and programs to ensure that these materials are aligned with strategy and positioning, as well as produced in a timely and cost-efficient manner
    • Serve as key source of local business knowledge of the therapeutic area, the products, and the competition. Work with in-house and outsource partners to research market needs and opportunities.  Monitor competitive trends in assigned areas and suggest appropriate action to better position in-charged products in development.
    • Lead the promotion and differentiation of portfolio leadership to key executives and decision makers.
    • Create, implement, monitor progress and update Account Business Plans (sales forecasts, targets and programs) for target accounts.
    • Identify by anticipation strategic and administrative needs, involve the appropriate decision-makers and implement proper formulary management guidelines, procedure, policies within the BU activities.
    • Seek & develop own knowledge on pharmaceutical industry & actively contribute to the development of the BU strategy.


Managerial Tasks

    • Provide leadership and strategic vision to the assigned business Unit in meeting business goals and objectives
    • Plan promotional budget, manage the key account expense (analyze and justify budget requests and measure account proposal on negotiate terms and profitability) and lead the execution and development of contract business case toward maximizing the ROI.
    • Provide leadership (direction, market feedback, recommendations, support, development) to field sales & marketing staffs and management as appropriate.
    • Effectively drive and ensure the achievement of sales targets and company objectives.
    • Ensure that all marketing materials and activities meet internal guidelines as well as any rules and regulations of meeting sponsors/regulatory agencies through assuring review by appropriate internal or external experts.
    • Foster and promote high levels of collaboration, motivation from cross-functional teams.
    • Coordinate with internal & external customers to seek to develop & continuously maintain high service level.
