Your Role:
The Medical Science Liaison – Oncology (MSL) will act as a scientific liaison between Oncology professionals and internal stakeholders through medical exchanges related to products and associated therapeutic areas. The MSL will also assist in the development and execution of scientific activities dictated by the Medical plans within the Oncology franchise.
Responsible for:
- Scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and decision makers with accurate, balanced and timely information about our Oncology medicines portfolio
- Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in Oncology and maintain superior knowledge of competitive products
- Execute specialized scientific/educational projects and programs
- Cultivate respected science-based relationships with scientific leadership community (i.e. Medical Oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, etc)
- Support clinical operation, through effective interaction with clinical investigators, and research coordinators to ensure successful execution of trials
- Identification of research collaborations encompassing basic and clinical research including real world evidence
- Contribute to define the Medical strategic and tactical plans
- Interacting with local, regional and global stakeholders and partners
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications
- M.Sc. degree in clinical or related science is minimal requirement
- M.D., Pharm.D. or a Ph.D. degree in clinical or related science, is a strong asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established professional and ethical behaviour
- Action oriented and motivated to deliver results, primarily independently
- Experience in pharmaceutical environment is a strong asset
- Ability to successfully interact with medical professionals and internal stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent writing and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Fluency in both French and English language
- Travel required to cover specific territory
Votre rôle:
L'agent de liaison scientifique médicale - Oncologie agira comme agent de liaison scientifique entre les professionnels de l'oncologie et les parties prenantes internes par le biais d'échanges médicaux liés aux produits et aux domaines thérapeutiques associés. Il participera également au développement et à l'exécution des activités scientifiques dictées par les plans médicaux au sein de la franchise Oncologie.
Responsable de:
- L'échange scientifique avec les professionnels de santé et les décideurs avec des informations précises, équilibrées et opportunes sur notre portefeuille de médicaments en oncologie.
- Se tenir au courant des développements médicaux et scientifiques en oncologie et maintenir une connaissance supérieure des produits concurrents.
- Exécuter des projets et des programmes scientifiques/éducatifs spécialisés.
- Cultiver des relations respectées et fondées sur la science avec la communauté scientifique dirigeante (c'est-à-dire les oncologues médicaux, les infirmières, les pharmaciens, etc.)
- Soutenir les opérations cliniques, par une interaction efficace avec les chercheurs cliniques et les coordinateurs de recherche, afin d'assurer le bon déroulement des essais.
- Identification des collaborations de recherche englobant la recherche fondamentale et la recherche clinique, y compris les données du monde réel.
- Contribuer à la définition des plans stratégiques et tactiques du département médical.
- Interagir avec les parties prenantes et les partenaires locaux, régionaux et mondiaux
Qui vous êtes :
Qualifications minimales
- Une maîtrise en sciences cliniques ou en sciences connexes est une exigence minimale.
- Diplôme dans le domaine médical : équivalent à M.D., PharmD, ou Ph. D. en sciences cliniques ou dans un domaine connexe est un atout important.
Qualifications préférées:
- Comportement professionnel et éthique établi
- Orienté vers l'action et motivé pour obtenir des résultats, principalement de manière indépendante.
- Une expérience dans un environnement pharmaceutique est un atout important
- Capacité à interagir avec succès avec des professionnels de la santé et des intervenants internes à tous les niveaux.
- Excellentes compétences en matière de communication écrite et verbale/présentation
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
- Déplacements nécessaires pour couvrir un territoire spécifique
