We are seeking for a Senior Executive Communications Manager to join our Executive Communications Team which is part of the Reputation & Positioning team in Group Communications.
Within the frame of the Corporate Communications team, the core responsibility of you will be consulting & partnering (together with the Executive Communications team and the Head of Reputation & Positioning) and executing on all aspects of executive leadership communications for the Group CEO, internally and externally, as well as other Executive stakeholders. In partnership with business leaders and stakeholders, you will develop strategic and creative communications solutions to meet our CEO’s positioning needs. You are responsible for meeting the communications style of the CEO as your business partner, within the frame of the group communications strategy. You are responsible for preparing internal and leadership communications around key business milestones, opportunities, and strategic topics.
The key responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation of: executive communications for the CEO of the Company, including speech writing, preparation of presentations, briefings for communications events, internal and external engagements communications, video scripts, etc.; live communications, including preparation and implementation of relevant and impactful events such as the Leadership Conference, Townhalls, Virtual Update meetings and other F2F formats etc., securing and preparing public relations opportunities, partnering with the CM Media Relations team on media opportunities, key message development, and storytelling concepts.
Key attributes of this person are deep understanding of our industries, experience in strategy and concept development, collaboration, creativity, and ability to work across teams, functions, and globally.
This role will report into the Head of Reputation & Positioning together with two other Executive Communication Managers
Who you are:
- University graduate degree or above in Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration or related field
- 10+ years of experience in communication management function within an international organization, communications agency, or communications consultancy
- Experience in an innovative and science-driven business preferred, knowledge of or strong interest in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Senior communicator with excellent business partnering and stakeholder management abilities, experience in working with Board Members
- Proven expertise in internal and change communications, strategy and concept development, speechwriting, and executive and leadership communications
- Distinct collaboration skills in working within a team of global communications experts
- Excellent communication skills: (Near) native level in English is a must, native speaker German preferred
- Willingness to travel 10%
