Your Role
You will oversee specific medical aspects within Global Clinical Development for the Neurology Therapeutic Area, providing an expert input primarily into external opportunities (business development/due diligence activities) as well as early compounds originating from the Research Unit. You will be required to provide deep therapeutic area knowledge to assess potential new assets across early to late development stages. As such, you will be responsible to develop clinical development plans options, as well as detailed clinical trial designs for a given asset. You may eventually assume an overall clinical and scientific leadership for a clinical program, including responsibility for clinical development strategy and execution of clinical trials for an acquired asset. You will plan, guide and manage clinical development plans and/or specific trials, aiding study design and interpretation of results. You may provide clinical input into submission/registration documents, briefing books, and publications. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams in a success-driven matrix environment and will be required to successfully influence and manage internal and external stakeholders.

You have a strong passion for developing and bringing new treatment options for persons suffering from neurological conditions.
Required:
•Medical Degree (MD) or international equivalent
•6+ (MD) years of clinical Neurology experience in academia or industry
•4+ years of clinical or development leadership experience in Neurology, preferably in translational medicine or early stages of development
•Knowledge and hands-on experience in business development activities for new assets
•Deep scientific interest and knowledge coupled with commercial acumen understanding the unmet needs in neurology therapeutic area
•Working knowledge of GCP, ICH, US FDA and EMA regulations
•Able to interface with GPT and multiple Global functions in matrix environment
•Excellence in development strategy and operational implementation, highly skilled in problem solving, track record of meeting milestone deliveries under tight deadlines
•Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills of project and clinical teams
•Ability to work collaboratively and seamlessly in intense, fast paced, multinational work environment
Preferred:
• PhD in Neuroscience or Medical or Biological Sciences with a personal publication track-record and interest in biological pathways of neurological diseases
•Board Certification in Neurology
