Your Role:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Director of digital products for our AI in drug discovery software suite to lead our product management and sales teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our drug discovery and software suite, managing a team of product managers and sales representatives and ensuring successful product commercialization. This position will report to the CEO and work closely with the software development, marketing, and customer support teams.

You will be responsible to:

  • Define and execute the product strategy for our AI in drug discovery software suite products, based on market research, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Hire and manage a cross-functional team of product owners, application scientists, technical support and customer success, PM for external partnership, strategic/tactical marketing, and competitive insights.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs with development teams, provide feedback throughout the product development process to ensure alignment with product goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, including pricing, positioning, and launch plans.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and thought leaders.
  • Lead external partnerships with scientific vendors and lead strategic integration of the AI and automation product with relevant upstream & downstream 3rd party tools based on the product roadmap and sales strategy.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify new opportunities for the product and ensure it remains competitive.
  • Communicate product status, progress, and changes to stakeholders, including customers, sales, and customer support teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the cheminformatics software space.
  • Responsible for full product lifecycle from strategy, development through to launch. 
  • Lead digital product management, new product launch, strategic and tactical marketing to generate leads for sales, marketing content, scientific collaboration with academia and pharma partners for our AI, and automation products for drug discovery applications.  
  • Hire and manage a cross-functional team of product owners, application scientists, technical support and customer success, PM for external partnership, strategic/tactical marketing, and competitive insights.
  • Execute software product roadmap, and digital products' strategy, build financial model and perform market research for new products and business models.
  • Own long-term product strategy, define measurable KPIs, build metric reports and dashboards for executives and present achievement roadmap to key team members.
  • Lead strategic marketing for digital products, including competitor analysis, customer needs, business intelligence, market analysis and segmentation, and business development.
  • Lead external partnerships with scientific vendors and lead strategic integration of the AI and automation product with relevant upstream & downstream 3rd party tools based on the product roadmap and sales strategy.

Who You Are: 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • PhD. (or M.S) in chemistry, biology, engineering, or relevant scientific fields
  • At least 6 years of proven experience in product management, launch, sales and support for customer-facing scientific software solutions
  • Proven Managerial experience leading cross-functional product teams in Life Science/Pharma industry

  • Hard-working, results-oriented leader with shown collaborative working style
  • Ability to lead multiple partners and complex cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
