Your role:
Responsibilities:
This role is part of the sourcing support unit under MBS organization, and a virtual member of procurement team in India. You will be responsible for indirect material and services supply spend of IT, Logistics, Consultancy, HR, Travel, Fleet & Event. You will also be working with country procurement Lead & Responsible for development, implementation and continuing administration of the Procurement Strategies as per Global guidelines & considering the local needs and with stakeholder alignments under procurement policies Roles and Responsibilities:
This implies the following tasks in close alignment with stakeholders and business strategies but not limited to:
- To develop and implement local policies for Procurement, Travel & other related, and digitalization strategies. Handel the tendering, contracts management, and supplier performance through ARIBA Platform to make sure the visibility and compliance. Do spend analysis in a regular base to have holistic picture on spend landscape and supplier roadmap.
- To drive continuous improvement, best value and quality improvements of team members and focusing towards change management process, which will help to derive spend efficiency for positive impacts towards business P&L.
- To leverage the expertise, resources to support stakeholders/business to provide immediate influences.
- To ensure all aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered in procurement process including documentation.
- Facilitate development of Supplier relationship Management
- Working with Global & Regional team on Alignments for strategies and supporting discussion regarding market insights.
- Create and deliver effective budgets (Plans of Purchase) agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Spend Management Framework
- Business partnering & stakeholder management in Organization.
- Build strategic relationships with a network of local senior stakeholders, to understand business requirements, identify opportunities to create value and to position Procurement’s value proposition. Align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Build relationships with key suppliers at a senior level and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships. Leverage the Business Review Meeting process to drive the relationships.
- Ensure supplier relationships which present potential risks to (for example where supplier has balance of power, monopolies, sole sources etc) are managed to minimize risk.
- Negotiate, create, execute, and manage effective contracts with suppliers that will allow to maximize opportunity. Ensure considerations are taken into account in supplier negotiations and contracts.
- Develop Operational Excellence and plans for key suppliers to drive improvement against KPIs
Who you are:
Qualification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain or other relevant discipline. Experiences working in multinational company with pharma or life science industry is preferred. More than 10 years’ sourcing experience in multinational company related to Indirect procurement for Indian market. Structured and reliable working attitude. Proactive, well-organized and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Have curiosity to learn new things and be a fast learner.
- Fluent in both writing and speaking of English is must.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Time zone flexibility working within a global environment and be resilience.
