Your role:

Your primary responsibility is to manage quality-related learning and training activities systematically and methodically in the regulated GMP and GDP environments in Global Healthcare Operations.

You are defining the Learning Management Strategy for Healthcare Quality (HCQ) to ensure that the organization has the necessary training levels and is prepared for inspections.

Acting as the global process owner for personnel training management, you will lead and coordinate global working groups to define and enhance learning process-related activities within HCQ, ensuring proper documentation. Collaborating with local HCQ colleagues, HR, and other functions to continuously improve the learning environment at HCQ is a key element of this role. This includes improving the learning culture, exploring opportunities for digitalization and system connectivity, and enhancing training effectiveness measures. You and your team of two Training Managers will serve as key experts in HCQ for the Merck Learning Management System (LMS) "HR4YOU Learning". Your team will provide guidance, training, and consultation to HCQ learning experts on the LMS, its functionalities, modern learning and training methods and digital learning tools and solutions. You will foster a global community for best practice sharing to improve learning processes and introduce learning innovations. You manage the production, maintenance, and retirement of training content (classical, digital, or blended learning solutions) on quality-related topics with your team of highly skilled experts. You will ensure the training set up for key Quality Processes and general GMP/GDP topics. Additionally, you take operational responsibility for the personnel training management of global HCQ employees.  (analyzing training needs, HR4YOU administration). Serving as HCQ's primary point of contact and representative for learning culture and processes, you will be key interface to internal group stakeholders and external expert groups.

 

Who you are:

 

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in learning-related fields 
  • Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP and related training management. Demonstrated experience in training and learning development and delivery. Other education in communication, training, or e-learning tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability for conceptual and strategic thinking, aligning global processes to regional and local needs.
  • 8-10 years of proven work experience in a highly regulated (preferably pharmaceutical) industry
  • Experience in international, multi-cultural teams and driving change in an international environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English for both written and verbal communication
