Internship Manufacturing Science And Technologies (MSAT) in Process Expertise

 

Your role:

Within the MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) Process Expertise team located at Corsier-sur-Vevey (Vaud), you will be part of a team of 6 to 8 specialists/experts in charge of establishing and maintaining the process control strategies for Vevey manufacturing products, of providing scientific and technical support to manufacturing processes, from their technology transfer in our production suites to their commercialization. As part of process expertise team, you participate in process troubleshooting and investigations, as well as process improvement projects.

You will be assigned to a variety of tasks such as investigation in case of deviation events in manufacturing,  documentation update in case of change, process sample management and shipment, study protocols and reports redaction. You will participate in the implementation of process changes in a GMP environment. You will also have the opportunity to follow the development of new technologies for implementation in manufacturing.

 

This internship will be an opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in biotech processes from upstream production with mammalian cells to purification, viral clearance, raw materials.

This position is a great opportunity to learn the different aspects of biopharmaceutical production, from technical and scientific aspects to quality management and GMP awareness.

 

Your profile:

  • Student (Master or Eng) in Biotechnology, Life science or Chemical engineering.
  • Motivation to learn about biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a GMP environment, including scientific and technical aspects, and GMP compliance and quality.
  • Highly motivated, curious, autonomous and result driven
  • Good team player, good communication skills, oral and written (English and French)
