This role is located in Warsaw with a possibility to work in hybrid model 2 days from home.
Acting as the business partner and counsel for data privacy in Poland and supporting a network of local Data Privacy Officers in CEE and the Baltics. In coordination with company`s global Group Data Privacy team, you implement, maintain and improve the Data Privacy Management System locally. You support and coordinate the local roll-out of for example global policies, processes, and guidelines and data privacy awareness trainings. You identify and manage risks related to data privacy, advise and report to Head of Legal, Compliance and Data Privacy of CEE, SEE, Baltics and Israel Cluster.
You serve as a primary contact in data privacy issues and serve as a subject matter expert for Cluster’s Legal & Compliance Team. In addition, you assess local legal trends and you work with the competent authorities in relevant cases. You provide guidance to the departments of the company on, among others, the documentation in our ROPA, creating broader awareness, and negotiating with external partners and customers. Being an active member of the wider community of data privacy practitioners and network within the organization, you will liase with internal key stakeholders and the Data Privacy Office.
Who you are:
- Graduate degree in law (or equivalent)
- At least 6 - 9 years of job experience with a minimum of 5 years in data privacy, preferably in a large company, law firm, or international environment
- Strong knowledge of local Polish Data Privacy law and European GDPR
- Business oriented in interactions with senior management and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Implementation skills and the ability to work in a global matrix organization
- Life Science, Healthcare or Chemical industry knowledge preferred
- Willingness to expand legal support also beyond data privacy topics
- Fluency in English and Polish
