Your role:

  • To support our ambitious sustainability strategy, we are expanding our global Corporate Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team.
  • Hence, we are hiring an environmental manger in in the APAC region. You will be driving a positive and proactive EHS behavior and culture on a global level with focus on the APAC region by advising, influencing, and supporting sites and regional teams.
  • In this role you will be the first contact partner for health-related matters in this region.
  • Furthermore, you will lead the global Corp. EHS audit program. This includes the responsibility for compiling and executing the annual audit schedule, monthly meetings with the auditor team as well as generating and reporting relevant data.
  • As a Corp. EHS Auditor you also lead, coordinate, and participate in the organization and execution of international internal EHS audits. This includes preparation, execution, coordination of audits, communication with site management, as well as follow-up activities.
  • Further part of the role is providing technical guidance and training to facilities for conducting occupational hygiene assessments as well as establishing strategy and implementation plans for maintaining a healthy workplace, in accordance with legal requirements and Group/corporate programs and supporting the global team of employee health management experts.
  • Together with this team, you are developing and implementing the global employee health program. In addition, you will maintain programs and procedures, to evaluate work conditions which present potential to adversely impact occupational health.


Who you are:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification
  • in environmental, health and safety or occupational hygiene.
  • Approximately 5-10 years EHS experience in industry.
  • Senior expertise in own specialized discipline or field.
  • Profound knowledge on environmental and sustainability topics.
  • Extensive professional experience in EHS audits.          
  • Positive and confident demeanor.
  • Distinct team player in an international environment with a global mind-set and a high level of intercultural awareness and eloquence.
  • Excellent analytical, communications and conceptual skills.
  • Creative, work proactively, taking action and anticipate opportunities.
  • Distinct flexibility, creativity, independence, and intrinsic motivation.
  • Strong ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills (ability to think in a networked way) and ability to make decisions under uncertain conditions.
  • Basic skills on project management.
  • Willingness to travel (local and international) is a basic prerequisite.
  • Fluent in English on business level is a must (other Asian language skills (Japanese, Korean) a plus).
