This role is located in Wroclaw with a possibility to work remotely.
Your role:
As part of the team of Digital, Data & IT Enabling Functions (DD&IT) for Finance you will work on cross-functional projects. You will help drive the journey of Finance organization into digitizing our processes & structuring our data. One major project is the “Trade Margin Management initiative” that started “fixing the basics” in company's Margin and inventory consolidation and reporting. We cover a vast range of topics, e.g. master data, workflows, data quality, MC4F enhancements, product cost analysis and reporting. The initiative team started introducing state of the art technology & tools overcoming ERP boarders. Recently, the strategic focus on “fixing the basics” and “data quality” in Finance has been confirmed by leadership team and a corresponding program was initiated. You will help defining and driving the agenda of this program by excuting Trade Margin Management initiative and advancing the use of digital tools.
One important goal is to establish automated reporting across the sectors and develop new tools that bring insights to Finance and the Business across the management levels in Finance and for our business partners. To achieve this ambitious task, we are looking for a Senior Expert Controlling with strong experience in Controlling processes and understanding of business steering requirements.
A close collaboration with the various stakeholders across the management levels is key to ensure our solution brings value and is sustainable. You will work closely with other functional and digital experts as well as Business Sector Controlling, Group Finance, IT. Key aspects of your role will be to define overall and user specific requirements, build use cases, propose streamlined reporting solutions, and support communication and training needs.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience with at least some of these in the area of controlling
  • Ideally experience in different finance / controlling departments across the organization, with good understanding of current processes and how data supports business decision making and steering, experience in product costing, transfer pricing, inventory reporting or similar definitely is an asset.
  • Solution-orientated with ability to work both in the details when needed but also have big picture in mind.
  • Affinity to technology and track record of establishing new processes, data analysis/reporting or tools
  • Track record to motivate others, communicate complex ideas clearly, gain the respect of clients and colleagues.
  • Track record of working collaboratively and successfully in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. Strong team spirit.
  • Fluent in English
