Your Role

As a Project Financial Controller & Manufacturing Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of both project operations and manufacturing activities within the organization. This dual role involves working closely with project managers, manufacturing teams, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and control across projects and manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in optimizing financial performance, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop project budgets and financial plans in coordination with project managers, considering manufacturing costs and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to forecast production costs, labor expenses, and overheads.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize project and manufacturing profitability.
  1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare and review project budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource allocation.
  • Forecast manufacturing costs, production expenses, and revenue projections based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial targets.
  1. Cost Control and Optimization:
  • Implement cost control measures and monitoring systems to track project and manufacturing expenses.
  • Analyze cost trends, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement efficiency improvements in project and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with project managers and manufacturing teams to mitigate financial risks and optimize resource utilization.
  1. Manufacturing Operations Oversight:
  • Coordinate with manufacturing managers to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance metrics, such as production yield, throughput, and efficiency, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline manufacturing processes, optimize inventory management, and reduce lead times.
  1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analysis for projects and manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls in financial reporting and manufacturing practices.
  • Support audits and reviews of project and manufacturing financials, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  1. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to project managers, manufacturing teams, and senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial concerns, align on strategic objectives, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support project planning, manufacturing decisions, and overall business strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
  • More than 6+ years of proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and analysis, preferably in project management and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, drive financial efficiency in collaboration with senior stake holders and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., ERP systems(SAP) , Excel , Power Point, Power BI and Tableau )
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in financial analysis and manufacturing operations oversight.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, Lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma is a plus.
