Your Role:

The Data Project Integration Manager will be the business lead contact and responsible for Master Data Projects and SAP projects within the Merck Electronics organization. This position will reside within the Data & Digital Organization and will report to the Head of Master Data Process Excellence. In addition, you will support the Global Business Owners for the Material Master; this includes development and implementation of the Global Master Data Governance and Strategy in alignment with the Group Data Strategy. You will work closely with the Business Process Streams to ensure that the data standards and procedures for maintaining these master data objects are defined, documented, audited, updated, and followed within the End-to-End Business processes. You will provide master data support for Merck Electronics critical initiatives such as system evaluations, mergers, divestitures, profit center realignments and supply chain realignments. You support the scoping, testing and implementation of systems and tools. You will create and deliver training to the Master Data Team, and Master Data upstream and downstream data providers involved in a project. You lead the communication and decision-making between IT and the business for master data related data initiatives during projects. You maintain documentation, policies and training guides for master data during projects. You will lead all aspects of change management and training related to the rollout and ongoing activities of the Material Master data projects.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, IT, business management, logistics or other related discipline
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the work processes and systems that are used to build, extend and maintain Master Data (Master Data, IT or Supply Chain experience)
  • Extensive professional experience in Supply Chain management and substantial project management experience
  • Solid understanding of Electronics portfolio and business
  • Extensive experience with SAP, related MDG platforms and a good understanding of SAP data structures.
  • APICS certifications (CPIM or CSCP)
  • PMP – Project Management Professional certification
