This position is a critical position to manage Diagnostics Manufacturing Accounts (DMA) sales team and drive DMA business to achieve sustainable above-market growth. The candidate will directly report to Head of Science and Lab Solution Commercial, China and be part of China SLS Commercial leadership team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead China DMA sales team to achieve the annual sales target and beat the market growth.

  • Developing segment Strategy: be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, setting sales targets and plan of actions.
  • Customer Relationship & strategic partnership Management: build and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic partners to ensure effective customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: analyze sales data and market trends to forecast future sales number and pipeline. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: collaborate with controlling to develop sales budgets and manage resources effectively, monitor and control sales expenses, analyze cost-effectiveness, and ensure profitable sales growth.
  • Team Management & Sales Performance Analysis: oversee a direct sales team and provide leadership, coaching, and guidance. He/She tracks sales metrics and KPIs to assess team and individual performance. They identify areas for improvement, implement corrective measures, and optimize sales processes and methodologies.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with various departments such as marketing, finance, customer excellence, business management excellence, supply chain & operations, application development etc. He/she ensures alignment and collaboration to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

 

 Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Good sales management capability with proven performance in the past
  • Think strategically, Good skill and knowledge of developing and implementing thoughtful & explicit business plan
  • Communicate (verbal/written/presentation) effectively with customers and internal stakeholders in both Chinese and English
  • Self-motivated and good people manager
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, versatile and tolerant in a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executions providing guidance and motivations to drive maximum performance
  • Understand ethical behaviors and business practices is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organizations
  • Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operation of the organizations and to create new opportunities
  • Lead and positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interests of the organization
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally to achieve the goals of organization

 

 Education / Experience:

  • Individual must have a bachelor degree or above in a biological related scientific field. MBA will add value.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales management experience in Lifescience companies
  • At least 6 years senior team management experience is required.
  • Be familiar with life science Diagnostic reagents manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and fluency in local language.
  • Good presentation & communication skill.
  • Have ambition of growing business in an exceptional growth
