Technical Manager - Marketing & Sales Applications

 

Your Role:

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for understanding and representing a global perspective of common Marketing and Sales applications, like Salesforce.com. You will lead change initiatives within a highly tailored and complex technology landscape which is integrated with many other systems to support the Electronics Business unit of the org.

 

You will be responsible to ensure clear business case justification for every change initiative, clarify requirements with business teams and create technical requirements from business requirements. With your in-depth knowledge on Salesforce development guidelines, you will contribute to the development of integrated project plans, including finalization of task estimates, identification of expertise requirements, while ensuring project management principles are in full use for all projects you are accountable for. You will also be responsible for upkeep and ensuring continuity of other businesses marketing and sales related applications. As part of your role, your are expected to maintain smooth transition of newly delivered projects and changes to the service delivery team, while ensuring that existing application SLAs are adhered to.

 

It is important to foster a deep level of communication with the business teams to ensure effective solutions and high customer satisfaction. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and your ability to understand business requirements for marketing and sales processes combined with the skill to perform comparative analysis across solutions, in order to provide technical recommendations is a key success factor. From a technical perspective we expect the ability to prepare extensive solution documentation related to technical architecture and solution design of technical components for use across various SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, and others). You are a diligent, hardworking individual who is able to learn new systems and processes rapidly, can collaborate with virtual teams, and having a proven track record of delivering outstanding quality for the Business.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in IT, computer sciences or business with additional qualifications in technology.
  • At least 10-12 years of development experience with Salesforce projects across sales / service / business clouds etc.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce administration, release management, and deployment expertise across various tools
  • Proven knowledge and experience of leading teams in application development using Visualforce, Apex Programming, Lightning development and APIs.
  • Experience in running business technology engagements across architecture, implementations and finally service delivery.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects supported with external consultants and be comfortable in working with both business teams and technical members Should be comfortable to work in a matrix organization structure across business and IT teams.
  • Strong adherence to standard project methodologies with focus on time and budget in Agile / Waterfall / Kanban methodologies and ability to promote team successes.
  • Experienced in service delivery framework and ensuring compliance to SLA and KPIs
  • Attention to details and ability to manage both business process changes as well as technical solutions to meet the business needs
  • Strong perseverance, a high degree of initiative and independence with the ability to work with people from various backgrounds/cultures/time zone, coupled with strong partner interface skills
  • Experience using tools to capture requirements and user stories using JIRA, test-case sign-offs, HP ALM etc.
  • Experience of working with teams involved in integration and migration tools e.g. SAP DI / Boomi for customer, product and price data management, as well as data governance.
  • Relevant certifications: Salesforce Administrator / Advanced Administrator, Salesforce PD1, Salesforce PD2, Salesforce App Builder etc.
  • Excellent command of English
