Global Graduate Program

The Global Graduate Program is addressing graduates with a dual academic background in natural science and business.

As a participant, you are part of Inhouse Consulting, the internal consultancy of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. Your task is supporting our headquarters as well as subsidiaries in the development and implementation of strategic management as well as operational projects. From the very beginning, you will be part of the Inhouse Consulting team – and thus a broad worldwide network with a direct connection to senior management. You will receive a limited contract for 24 months. However, it is our clear objective to place all GOglobal graduates into permanent roles following successful completion of the program.

Who you are

• Master’s degree (PhD is a plus) in natural science, engineering, or business
• Secondary qualification (e.g. through degrees or classes, participation in extra-curricular activities, and/or internships experience) in business or natural science, complementing the above degree
• Outstanding academic achievements
• Ideally two demanding consulting or industry-related internships & international experience
• Strong analytical skills, excitement for complex and ambiguous work, curiosity for our diverse business sectors and a broad range of topics
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility and to demonstrate results-oriented project management
• Profound knowledge of MS Office
• English skills essential, German is a plus
  

Throughout the program, Associates will also participate in targeted professional trainings and our internal coaching curriculum to continuously improve their technical expertise and business acumen.
