Flexible display solutions

The latest materials offer greater performance than amorphous silicon and can be processed using standard photolithography techniques that are used in LCD production lines.

Lisicon® OTFT materials are solution-processed, enabling simple coating techniques such as slot-die or printing processes. Ultimately, printable inks will permit direct-write control of the OTFT devices and, in the near future, highly efficient roll-to-roll printing of displays and electronic devices. The material's natural flexibility and suitability for plastic substrates enables makes new features possible in display applications, including lightweight, robust, bendable, conformable, and even fully flexible and rollable displays. Printed electronics will help to drive the Internet of Things by enabling the ultra-high-volume and mass customization requirements that make the promise of ubiquitous connectivity and ambient intelligence a reality.
