Iriodin® 103 WAY Rutile Sterling Silver effect pigment

Want to bring brilliant, resistant, enduring metallic shine to your mass-colored plastic products? Our Iriodin® 103 WAY Rutile Sterling Silver effect pigment delivers all these,  plus a long-lasting, brilliant silver-white pearl effect.

We designed this weather-resistant, light-stable, chemically inert and thermally stable pigment especially for the harsh environments of outdoor applications as well as for plastic processing technologies such as extrusion. The inorganic ceramic-like surface minimizes photocatalytic reactivity of the pigment with the polymer matrix and additives. This, in turn, helps preserve your product's beauty and color by providing anti-yellowing properties and preventing pinking. It additionally maintains the component's mechanical strength and inhibits weathering, polymer degradation, photodegradation, depolymerization and polymer embrittlement.

We therefore recommend Iriodin® 103 WAY for mass-colored plastic applications in architecture such as extruded plastic sheets used in siding, roofing or flooring as well as in automotive and vehicle parts and trim, garden furniture or toys.
