Fast funding for scientists
At Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, we are dedicated to accelerating innovation and advancing science. That’s why we want to foster independent research by reducing financial hurdles for researchers. We are inviting pre-clinical researchers in the fields of oncology, immuno-oncology, autoimmune disorders and drug discovery technologies to apply to our fast funding program: our Biopharma Speed Grant Initiative. If your application receives a positive decision, grant funding will be made available within weeks of us receiving your application. Grants of up to €30,000 per project are available.
Who can apply?
Pre-clinical researchers in the fields of oncology, immuno-oncology, autoimmune disorders and drug discovery technologies are invited to apply. Funding is available for pre-clinical research only.
Healthcare professionals and researchers employed by Healthcare Organizations may not be funded by this initiative for formal and legal reasons.

How does it work?
All information submitted in the application is considered non-confidential. Please ensure you have permission to disclose any information you share on the application form.
Applicants will keep all rights to results and the respective IP. We can even help you to submit your patent application upon request.
