Abstract

This keynote will highlight the critical need for sustainability in semiconductor manufacturing with two pivotal areas of focus: the elimination of perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, particularly those with high Global Warming Potential (GWP).

By showcasing the innovative solutions being developed by us, Gorman will emphasize the industry's commitment to driving sustainable practices. These include the development of PFAS-free materials, such as novel surfactants and coatings, along with the adoption of low GWP gases for crucial semiconductor processes like dry etching. The presentation aims to inspire industry-wide collaboration and action to create a greener and more environmentally responsible future for semiconductor manufacturing.
