Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, through the Global Health Institute, is collaborating with FIND, supporting the program for the development of RDTs to diagnose schistosomiasis
Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, is committed to contribute to the control and elimination of the schistosomiasis. In this context, the Global Health Institute is addressing the need for new treatments, diagnostics and transmission control approaches for schistosomiasis.
A new program has been recently initiated to develop rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) to detect schistosomiasis; this program led by FIND is supported by funding and partnership from Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, through the Global Health Institute.
