Benjamin is Global Program Head for the Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium program, led by the Global Health Institute.

He holds a PhD in biochemistry and has over 15 years of experience in drug development in the pharmaceutical industry. Benjamin worked as a senior director in program leadership, clinical strategy & development and medical affairs in various international assignments. Over the years, he has worked in immunology, oncology, and anti-infectives and across multiple phases of drug development including late-stage development.

He joined Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, in 2018 and is based in Darmstadt/Germany.
