Cardiovascular, Metabolism and Endocrinology
We combine our expertise in diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and thyroid disorders to provide access to healthcare solutions.
An integrated approach to diagnosis and treatment
Bringing affordable, high-quality medicines to patients worldwide has been the overarching goal of the General Medicine business unit for many years and continues to be our main objective in the future. Every day, an estimated of more than 59 million patients are using our medications. Ultimately, we aim to improve the lives of patients living with cardio-metabolic diseases by providing access to healthcare solutions.
Ever since we developed our first thyroid medicine in 1894, our goal is to help patients lead healthier lives. Today we offer a broad range of treatments for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and thyroid disorders in markets outside the United States and Canada.
