Biography
Rana is responsible for Project Management within Global Health Institute, focusing her activities on the pediatric praziquantel (private-public partnership) program for treatment against schistosomiasis.
Rana has 10 years of project management experience within medical device industry. She has managed Research, Development, Operations, Supply and Organizational projects through different stages, sites and regions. Before joining Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, she has led projects within Zimmer Biomet, Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) and Greatbatch Medical.
Rana has a Bachelor degree in chemical engineering from polytechnic university of Tehran, Master of Microtechnology (Molecular Science) from Neuchâtel University and PhD in Microtechnology for life science applications from Ecole Polytechnic Federal de Lausanne. Rana is a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
