Katherine Dei Cas, Head of Delivery Systems & Services, Appointed to SEMI North America Advisory Board

EMD Electronics, the North American Electronics business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, announced today that Katherine Dei Cas has been appointed to the SEMI North America Advisory Board (NAAB).

EMD Electronics, the North American Electronics business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, announced today that Katherine Dei Cas has been appointed to the SEMI North America Advisory Board (NAAB). Dei Cas is the head of the company’s Delivery Systems & Services business unit within the Electronics business sector of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.

SEMI is the global industry association representing the electronics design and manufacturing supply chain. The mission of the SEMI NAAB is to strengthen the financial, market, and technology performance of SEMI member companies operating in North America through programs, influence on the device community, and impact on public policy.

Dei Cas joins 13 leaders from semiconductor equipment and materials companies with operations in North America currently serving on the NAAB. The NAAB provides input to the president of SEMI Americas in intellectual property protection, trade policy, environmental health and safety, and workforce development. Dei Cas also serves on the SEMI Foundation Advisory Council, guiding SEMI workforce development programs and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

“Kate Dei Cas has extensive industry experience and will bring a thoughtful perspective to the NAAB regarding important industry issues,” said Dave Anderson, Americas president at SEMI. “In addition to her role advising the SEMI Foundation, she has been an active participant and sponsor of numerous SEMI events over the past several years, and we are fortunate to have her involvement on our regional advisory board.”
