In all our endeavors, we attempt to efficiently utilize materials and recycle as much as possible. Where feasible, we use recycled materials (in packaging, for instance.) Overall, our company considers material consumption to be a major concern. There are few opportunities to use recycled material in our production processes, because our business model puts us at the start of the value chain. We therefore do not collect such data at the Group level. Individual data and measures are reported in the respective chapters.

Water consumption

Most of the water we use in our production is discharged directly or indirectly. Evaporation processes are not a material part of our production. At individual production sites, we bind small amounts of water in our products. We are working to implement collection systems for this consumption. As we have no water storage capacity, this information is not relevant for our company.
