Schistosomiasis, affecting almost 240 Mio people, is a highly prevalent parasitic disease in sub-Saharan Africa, and one of the most damaging tropical diseases in terms of public health burden and economic impact.  Transformative health solutions as well as innovative access mechanisms are needed to fight schistosomiasis.   

Hosted and facilitated by the International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ISNTD), the ISNTD connect webinars bring together tropical disease and public health professionals.  
The webinar on January 26 on “Access to schistosomiasis innovation:  the new frontier to reach elimination by 2030” will be presented by:
