Innovators' Club: 3D Printing - Shaping the Future of Human Health

Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, has grown rapidly in scale and innovation in recent years. And so have its multiple applications and possibilities for human health promising that 3D printing will improve quality of life by enabling human health solutions that are tailored to the needs of individual patients.

Watch the recording of our Innovators' Club online edition to find out how 3D printing can shape the future of human health. Our keynote speakers Martin Bullemer, Managing Director of AMCM GmbH, Simon Geissler, Director Drug Delivery and Innovation at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany; and Adam W. Feinberg, Professor of biomedical engineering and materials science engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh share their insights on the industry.

After the keynotes, the speakers and Petra Kerscher, Senior Scientist Expert in 3D bioprinting at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany joined a panel discussion moderated by Christoph Huels, Founder of the Additive Manufacturing of Tablets project at our Innovation Center.

Watch this event to get answers to questions like:

  • How far away are we from the most exciting future developments?
  • Why have additive manufacturing technologies developed so fast within the healthcare market?
  • What hurdles does the bioprinting field need to overcome to keep advancing?
